11 Speakers, 400 Watts, Zero Clutter

The HW-Q800F packs 11 speakers into one soundbar and a wireless subwoofer. No rear speakers to wire, no cables to run across the room. You get front, side-firing, and up-firing drivers in the bar itself, plus a 6.5-inch active woofer backed by an 8-inch passive radiator in the sub. The side-firing speakers handle surround effects with pinpoint directional audio. The up-firing drivers bounce Dolby Atmos sound off your ceiling to create real overhead presence.

400 watts of total power is a significant bump from the previous Q800D's 360 watts. You'll notice it during action scenes where the bass hits harder and dialogue stays locked in the center, even when explosions are going off around you.

Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony: Better Together with a Samsung TV

If you own a Samsung TV from 2022 or later, the Q800F unlocks two features worth knowing about. Wireless Dolby Atmos sends Atmos-encoded audio from your TV to the soundbar over Wi-Fi, so you skip the HDMI cable for streaming apps. Q-Symphony goes further: it fires your TV speakers and the soundbar simultaneously, which widens the soundstage noticeably. Most soundbars tell your TV speakers to shut up. This one actually makes them useful.

SpaceFit Sound Pro runs automatic room calibration. It measures your room's acoustics and adjusts the EQ, including bass levels, so you don't have to fiddle with settings manually. Move the soundbar to a different room? It recalibrates on its own.

Streaming, Gaming, and the Inputs That Actually Matter

The Q800F connects to pretty much everything. Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and it's even Roon Ready for the audiophile crowd. For physical connections: 1 HDMI In, 1 HDMI Out with eARC, and optical. 4K passthrough at 60 Hz with HDR10+ keeps your picture quality intact if you're running a source through the bar.

Game Mode Pro drops latency for gaming, and it auto-detects when you fire up a console. Adaptive Sound analyzes what you're watching and adjusts the mix in real time. Night Mode compresses the dynamic range so explosions don't wake up the whole house at 11 PM. Alexa is built in, and the bar also works with Google Assistant and Bixby if that's your thing.

Compact Sub, Wall-Mount Ready, One Remote

Samsung redesigned the subwoofer for 2025. At roughly 25 cm on each side, it's compact enough to tuck beside a couch or behind a side table. The soundbar itself is about 111 cm wide, which fits under most 55-inch and larger TVs. It weighs just over 5 kg, and Samsung includes a wall-mount kit in the box. One HDMI cable, one remote, plug it in, pair it, done.

If you want true surround later, the Q800F is compatible with Samsung's SWA-9500S wireless rear speaker kit (sold separately). That bumps you from 5.1.2 to a full surround setup without running any speaker wire across the room.
